EaW can also stand for the Computer Game

EAW (Eastern Acoustic Works) is a manufacture of mainly professional audio reinforment tools, like speaker systems and processors.

EAW was co-founded by Kenneth Berger and Kenton Forsythe in 1978 and became famous by developing the KF850 system (1985). This system was for many years the touring standard, and with this system EAW gained much of its credibility in the professional audio industry. The products of EAW are mainly used in professional applications such as concert venues, clubs, stadiums, theme parks and churches.

The company is now a part of Loud Technologies which also contains companies Mackie, SiaSoft and Tapco.
