EH4 is a postal district for Edinburgh, and is considered to belong to the most exclusive addresses, which includes Blackhall, one of Scotlands most expensive suburbs and it also includes Cramond, another suburb which is almost always assosciated as Second-Best to Blackhall. House prices in Blackhall can reach as much as £1,000,000 for five bedrooms and in Cramond house prices reach £950,000 for five bedrooms. It also includes Davidson's Mains as its district, and D'Mains is often said to be the midline for the social diversities, as it hosts mainly the middle and upper-middle classes.

In a recent survey, EH4 is the most millionaire populated Postal District in the United Kingdom, but that is aided to the fact that EH4 has Blackhall under its belt.

EH4 is also home to other social sub-diversities such as Clermiston and Drylaw, which have always been associated with the working classes.
