- 29 March 2005 - EQT Partners AB, a buyout firm backed by Sweden's Wallenberg family, and Goldman Sachs Group Inc.'s private-equity arm agreed to buy Denmark's ISS A/S, the world's biggest cleaning company, for about $3.8 billion in cash.
- 1Q 2006 - EQT buys MTU Friedrichshafen and Detroit Diesel's off-highway business from DaimlerChrysler. The group was named Tognum in July, 2006.
