The subsidiary titles of the Earl Grey are: Viscount Howick, in the County of Northumberland (created 1806), and Baron Grey, of Howick in the County of Northumberland (1801). Both titles are, along with the Earldom, in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. The title Viscount Howick is the courtesy title for the eldest son of the Earl Grey.
The family seats are Howick Hall and Chillingham Castle, both in Northumberland.
