The Earl holds the subsidiary titles of Viscount FitzHarris, of Hurn Court in the County of Southampton (1800), and Baron Malmesbury, of Malmesbury in the County of Wiltshire (1788), in the Peerage of Great Britain.

The family seat is Greywell Hill House, near Basingstoke, Hampshire.
