Ease the squeeze

Ease the squeeze was a political slogan created by Mark Latham, former Australian House of Representatives Member for Werriwa, leader of the Australian Labor Party and leader of the opposition. It was intended to describe the intention of Labor Party fiscal policy to reduce the economic pressure upon Australian citizens, to reduce or ease the pressure and expense of daily living. It was aimed at the economically focused 'aspirational voter'.
