Eastern region of the People's Republic of China

East China (Simplified Chinese: 华东, Traditional Chinese: 華東; pinyin: Huádōng) is a region of the People's Republic of China defined by governmental bureaus that includes the municipality of Shanghai and the provinces of Shandong, Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Fujian.

Within the People's Republic of China, Taiwan is also considered a part of this region.
