Econazole

Econazole nitrate is an antifungal medication of the imidazole class. It is used as a cream under the brand names Spectazole® (US) and Ecostatin® (Canada) to treat skin infections such as athlete's foot, ringworm, and jock itch. It is also sold in Canada under the brand name Ecostatin Vaginal Ovules® to treat vaginal thrush.

Topical Azoles: Clotrimazole, Econazole, Fluconazole, Ketoconazole, Miconazole, Oxiconazole, Sertaconazole, Sulconazole, Tioconazole

Other topicals: Ciclopirox, Ethyl hydroxybenzoate, Flucytosine, Salicylic acid, Selenium sulfide, Terbinafine, Tolnaftate

For systemic use: Amphotericin B, Anidulafungin, Caspofungin, Griseofulvin, Itraconazole, Terbinafine, Voriconazole

Other: Posaconazole. Thiabendazole, Tea tree oil
