Ecosphere has several different meanings:

In astronomy an ecosphere is an imaginary shell of space surrounding stars where conditions are such that life might survive. See habitable zone.
In ecology the term ecosphere can refer to the global ecosystem of the planet (essentially the same as biosphere).
Ecosphere (science) is a closed ecosystem useful for learning about ecology, available as a novelty gift, such as a terrarium
