Ed's Redeeming Qualities was founded in 1988 and originally consisted of Dan Leone (also a food writer for the San Francisco Bay Guardian), Dom Leone, Carrie Bradley (who also performed with The Breeders), Neno Perrotta, and Jonah Winter. Dom Leone died of cancer in 1989. The Breeders covered their song "Drivin' On 9" on their album Last Splash.
Ed's Redeeming Qualities created the soundtrack for the movie [Ed's Next Move].
