Lonas Edgar "Ed" Bailey, Jr. (born April 15, 1931 in Strawberry Plains, Tennessee) is a former Major League Baseball catcher. Bailey, a five-time All-Star, was signed as an amateur free agent in 1950 by the Cincinnati Redlegs.
In a 14-season career, Bailey batted .256 with 155 home runs and 540 RBIs in 1212 games. He accumulated 423 runs scored and an on-base percentage of .355 in his career. He had 915 total hits in 3581 at bats.
