Ed Lauter

Edward Lauter is an American actor, born on October 30, 1940 in Long Beach, Long Island, New York. He has been in a lot of movies, and was a stand up comic before he got into acting.

Ed Lauter's films range from Cujo (1983), Real Genius (1985), Girls Just Want To Have Fun (1985), Youngblood (1986), (1987), Raw Deal (1987), True Romance (1993) and the most recent film, Purple Heart'' (2005).

His TV guest appearances range from The A-Team, Booker, Highlander, (as Lt. Cmdr. Albert in the season 5 episode "The First Duty"), and ER (with a recurring role as Fire Captain Dannaker).
