Ed Video Media Arts Centre is located in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. It is a non-profit, charitable, Artist-Run Centre. Ed Video was founded in 1976 by a group of young artists who wished to create a place to explore the emerging medium of video. 'Ed' is short for Educational. Although video technology has emerged rapidly in the last 30 years, education has remained a focus of the centre. Ed Video hosts workshops, monthly video screenings, and provides equipment to shoot and edit independent videos. www.edvideo.org
