Edenkoben

Edenkoben is a town in the Südliche Weinstraße district, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It lies approximately halfway between Landau and Neustadt an der Weinstraße. Population 6,732 (2004). It has a Roman Catholic and a Protestant church, several high-grade schools and a sulphur-spring. Its industries comprise linen- and damask-weaving, ironworks, and the manufacture of machinery, furniture and cigars. It has also a considerable trade in wine.
Edenkoben is also the seat of the Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") Edenkoben, which consists of the following Ortsgemeinden ("local municipalities"):
