Edward C. Meyer

Edward Charles Meyer (born December 11, 1928) was a U.S. Army general.
Born in St. Marys, Pennsylvania, he graduated from the United States Military Academy in 1951. He was commissioned a second lieutenant in the infantry. Meyer served as Chief of Staff of the US Army from 1979 to 1983. He retired in June 1983.
