Eglinton Main Street Bus Stop

The bus stop is located opposite a Barbers/Video and DVD rental shop named "Headmasters." This bus stop was vandalised in late 2004/early 2005, but in late 2006 was repaired. It is probably the most popular bus stop in Eglinton, as it is located on the Main Street. The bus stop is used mainly for Eglintonians seeking to get to and fro either Derry or Limavady. It is designed to hold about 8 people, although somedays I see about 15 people squeeze into it. It's often exploited by advertisers, who know that most people waiting at the bus stop will be forced to read anything out of sheer boredom. Buses serve the stop, almost always to schedule. It takes a bus around 30 minutes to reach Foyle Street Bus Depot in Derry from the bus stop.
