Elaine Smith (born 23 April 1962 in Ayrshire, Scotland) found fame as an actress on Australian television.

She is best known for her role as Daphne Clarke in the soap opera Neighbours. Smith was one of the original cast members of the soap in 1985 and continued on in the series until 1988.

Subsequent credits include: The Flying Doctors, Always Greener and All Saints.
