Electro rock

Electro rock is a sub-genre of punk. Often it has been called "electro post-punk". It is a hybrid of new wave and punk rock, and uses elements from electronica such as synthesizers, drum machines, and samples.
Some well known electro rock artists are Le Tigre, Prospect, and The Faint.
