This article lists the number of casualties in the anime series Elfen Lied, both humans and Diclonius alike, occurring in each episode throughout the anime, as well as giving a brief description on the circumstances of the victims' deaths. Please keep in mind that this section comes with spoilers, and names in bold refer to main cast characters.

Episode 01 -
*23 Security staff members (Deceased, according to report of SAT officer; killed by Lucy);
*Kisaragi (Deceased; decapitated by Lucy)

Episode 02 -
*1 SAT officer (Deceased; smached hole through the chest, hand with machine gun cut off, head also severed from the neck);
*Bando (Infected Survivor; right arm torn off, left arm twisted, and blinded by Lucy)

Episode 03 -
*Kouta, Mayu, & Yuka (Survivors; Lucy attempted to kill them all but she stopped when she recalled her memories of Kouta after seeing his face)

Episode 04 -
*Nana (Survivor; arms and legs dismembered by Lucy);
*Lucy (Survivor; vectors temporarily incapacitated by Nana)

Episode 05 -
*Mayu (Physically abused prior to start of the main story; molested by her stepfather);
*Professor Yuu Kakuzawa (Deceased; decapitated by Lucy)

Episode 06 -
*Unnamed girl (Deceased or infected; collapsed, possibly dead, after Lucy's vector entered her head)

*Tomou and three orphanage kids (Deceased prior to start of the main story; heads blown off by child Lucy);

*Kouta's father (Deceased prior to start of the main story; decapitated by child Lucy);
*Child Kouta (Survivor; traumatized at witnessing the death of his family);
*Isobe (Survivor; crawled away, unseen by Lucy)

Episode 13 -
*Nana (Survivor; rescued by Kurama after falling into ocean, then later saved by Lucy from scientist pointing gun at her);
*Bando (Survivor; life spared by Lucy);
*2 SAT officers (Deceased; ripped into pieces by Mariko and Lucy, respectively);
*Lucy (Survivor; beaten unconscious by Marikos' vectors, having her right horn sliced off);
*Kurama (Presumed Dead; caught in explosion after bomb inside Mariko detonated);
*Mariko (Deceased; exploded when bomb inside her detonated);
*Isobe (Deceased; decapitated by Lucy);
*Lucy/Nyu (Missing; went to face SAT force, then her remaining horn broke. Whether she's dead or alive is up to fan speculation)

OVA -
*Aiko (Deceased; prior to start of the main story; Got shot in the back when she pushed Lucy away, because she didn't want her to get hit)
