Emjay is a dance music artist of French-Canadian origin. She originates from Ottawa, Ontario and had a series of hits througout the 1990s. Her style of dance music was "eurodance" with high-energy techno beat and passionate female vocals. Her music was never very popular among the mainstream, but rather well-known to Canadian dance music fans of cities like Toronto and Montreal.
