English Bridge Union

English Bridge Union (EBU) is the governing body for duplicate contract bridge throughout England. It organises competitions, teaching (through EBUTA), technical director training, master points and, importantly, laws and ethics. The counties of England and individual players are members. Regarded by some (2006 Mr Bridge number 74 page 36) as a blockage to the redevelopment of bridge in Britain.
