Entry-level job
Encyclopedia : E : EN : ENT : Entry-level job
An entry-level job is a job that generally requires very little skill and knowledge and is generally of a low pay. These jobs may require physical strength or some on-site training. Some entry level jobs require specific skills and knowledge, such as those which are offered by employers to recent college graduates and therefore require a college degree.
People taking entry-level jobs often receive very low hourly wages with or without insurance, but entry-level jobs which are offered to college graduates tend to pay more and almost always are accompanied by a full benefits package. Many entry-level jobs are part-time, but those which are targeted to recent college graduates tend to be full-time, permanent positions.
