- Equal Rights Amendment, a proposed, but unratified, USA constitutional amendment
- Equal Rights Association, an alternative name for the American Equal Rights Association.
- Era (musical project), a music project founded by Eric Levi
- Era (operator), the brand name of Poland's largest mobile phone network operator, PTC
- Ethiopian Roads Authority
- Études et Recherches Acoustiques, a French audiophile manufacturer from the 1970s
- European Railway Agency
- European Robotic Arm, a robot arm for use on the International Space Station
- Explosive reactive armour, a type of vehicle armor
- European Research Area
- European Regions Airline Association, an association for aviation businesses.
- Era (Publishing House) is a Bulgarian publishing house created in 1976.
- Era was a Bulgarian rock band from the 1980s and 1990s, connected to the band Review and the well known female singer Milena.
- Era was also a minor political coalition in Bulgaria with some anarchistic ideas that unsuccessfully competed in parlamentary elections in the 1990s.
- Enhanced rescission authority also know as "line item veto"
