Eruvadi

Eruvadi is a panchayat town in Tirunelveli district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census^{[Geographic references#IndiaGRIndia]}, Eruvadi had a population of 14,715. Males constitute 46% of the population and females 54%. Eruvadi has an average literacy rate of 79%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 82%, and female literacy is 76%. In Eruvadi, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.
