Essex Senior Football League

The Essex Senior League is an English football league covering Essex and East London. It is a feeder to the Isthmian League. It sits at step 5 (or level 9) of the National League System. In 2006 the Football Association asked the league and the Kent League to consider a possible future merger. For a team to be relegated from the Essex Senior League they would have to resign their Senior Status and join an Intermediate League.
