Estarreja (pron. IPA [(ɨ)ʃtɐ'ʁɐiʒɐ], [(ɨ)ʃtɐ'ʁɐʒɐ] or [(ɨ)ʃtɐ'ʁeʒɐ]) is a municipality in Portugal with a total area of 108.4 km² and a total population of 28,236 inhabitants, and 22,746 electors (2006).

The municipality is composed of 7 parishes, and is located in the District of Aveiro.

The present Mayor is José Eduardo Alves Valente Matos, elected by a coalition between the Social Democratic Party and the People's Party.

The municipal holiday is June 13.
