Eugenio Hernández Flores

Eugenio Javier Hernández Flores (b. october 17, 1959 in Victoria, Tamaulipas) is a Mexican politician affiliated to the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). He is a former mayor of Ciudad Victoria and the current governor of Tamaulipas (2004 – 2010).
Hernández Flores received a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Studies.
After working several years as a public contractor in Golfo Laguna, S.A. and managing the political campaign of Francisco Labastida in Tamaulipas, he got elected mayor of Ciudad Victoria, the state capital. In 2004 he was elected governor of the state with 61% of the vote.
Hernández is married to Adriana González and has four sons: Ana Roberta, Eugenio, Fabiola and Camila.
