Euroborg is the name of football club FC Groningen's new stadium, with a capacity of 20,000 seats. Located to the south-east of Groningen, the Euroborg site houses a casino and a new movie theatre, a school, a supermarket and a fitness centre as well as the stadium. A railway station is slated to open in late 2006. The stadium seats are completely in the club's colours: green and white. 1000 seats are available for the supporters of the away team.

Although the stadium is a big improvement for FC Groningen, the club is already thinking about expanding the stadium by 4000 seats to a capacity of 24,000. Besides the present nickname (de groene hel, or, the Green Hell) it also is called "de Groene Kathedraal" (the Green Cathedral).
