E22 is the number of a European route ("E-road") through the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Latvia and Russia, from the harbour of Dublin, Ireland to Moscow passing Amsterdam, Hamburg, Sassnitz, Malmö, Kalmar, Norrköping, Ventspils and Riga. There is no ferry across the Baltic Sea between Norrköping and Ventpils though. The best ferry alternatives would be Nynäshamn (Sweden) - Ventspils or Karlshamn (Sweden) - Liepaja (Latvia).
