eUttaranchal is a Non-Profit and Non-Government Organization, representing people from Kumaon and Garhwal zones of Uttaranchal.
Started in year 2003, eUttaranchal has been growing rapidly and becoming the Information Gateway to Uttaranchal.
Aim and Objectives of eUttaranchal
1. To promote the Uttaranchali Culture and Tradition (both online and offline) - The website can be helpful in promoting it online. The offline activities will include meetings/sessions at different cities (beginning with Delhi/other big cities and then moving onto the cities of Uttaranchal and remote places as well)-These sessions will include "Kumaoni-Garhwali Classes", "Career Guidance Sessions" and "General awareness meetings" at big cites, small towns and remote villages respectively.
2. To chain together the committed Uttaranchalis through the website and expand our network in different parts of Uttaranchal, India and the world.
3. Promoting Uttaranchal Tourism through website. This will certainly empower the tourism industry in Uttaranchal.
4. To focus on the basic problems of the Uttaranchalis – Quality Education is one of major issues of Uttaranchal and so is the need of proper career guidance. The integration of Career Guidance section in the near future will certainly help the students to set into a right path.
eUttaranchal History
eUttaranchal was founded to bring closer the people of Uttaranchal who have left their homeland in search of education or employment. The main aim of the website is to enable the natives of Uttaranchal to share their culture, tradition, news and other thoughts and pass them on from generation to generation.
The concept of eUttaranchal.com was developed by just 2 Uttaranchalis in March 2003 and has now grown up with more than 1000 registered members.
