- In broadcasting, evergreen episodes of a radio or television program are also like evergreen articles in journalism, which can be used anytime as well. Evergreen episodes are sometimes used in case a feed of a regularly-fed program or series is not received by a radio or television station due to technical difficulties, with an evergreen epsiode aired as a backup.
- In music an evergreen is a song that can be played over and over again throughout the years without the audience ever getting tired of hearing it. (Synonymous to a "classic".)
