The book was set in an exclusive hotel on the English seaside, whose guests include a glamorous actress who is shortly murdered. And Poirot, staying on the island, soon learns that nearly all of the guests had a connection to her, and most of them had ample motive for the murder.Arlena Marshall attracted as many suitors as she did enemies, making it especially difficult for the tireless Hercule Poirot to solve her gruesome murder.
