The word exhaust can mean:- In set theory, exhaustive is an attribute of rule(s) for defining the inclusion/exclusion of elements of a collection of sets such that no non-exclusive elements remain which cannot definitely be included in one and only one set. The word comes from the Latin exhaustus meaning "drained dry, emptied", from the verb exhauriĊ.
