Rochemback made his Middlesbrough debut in a 2-1 win over Arsenal. He was Portugal's player of the year in 2003.
He scored his first goal for Middlesbrough in a 3-0 victory against Chelsea on February 11, 2006.
He scored his first FA Cup goal for Middlesbrough direct from a free kick, in a 4-2 victory over Charlton in a quarter final replay on April 112006.
Rochemback has recently regained some of the form that led him to a successful stint in Portugal with Sporting Lisbon, and is currently being lauded as a great signing by the fans, now that he is showing more and more what he can do.
