The FMA IA 63 Pampa is an advanced trainer aircraft with combat capability, produced in Argentina by FMA with assistance from Dornier of Germany. Heavily influenced by the Dassault-Breguet/Dornier Alpha Jet design, the main difference of the Pampa lies in being a smaller aircraft with one engine instead of two, and in having straight wings instead of swept wings.

The Pampa prototype first flew on October 6, 1984. Production has been delayed and hampered by the state of the Argentinian economy, and as a result only 20 production aircraft have been built for the Argentinian Air Force. It has a top speed of 466 mph [750 km/h]service ceiling of 42,325 ft [12,900 m] combat radius with 2205 lb [1000 kg] 223 m [360 km].It's empty wieght is 6219 lb[2821 kg] maximum take-off 11,023 lb [5000 kg].It's wingspan is 31 ft 9.25in length 35 ft 10.25 in [10.93 m] hight 14 ft 1 in.
