F Line (RTD)

Encyclopedia : F : FL : FLI : F Line (RTD)

The F Line will be a future light rail line, part of the light rail system operated by the Regional Transportation District in the Denver-Aurora Metropolitan Area in Colorado. The line will be added to the system to coincide with the completion of the Southeast Corridor project (the ["T-Rex Project"]) in late 2006. It is one of four routes that is part of the RTD's current service plan for the corridor.

The F Line's northern terminus will be at 18th Street in downtown Denver. It is to share track with the D Line from 18th Street to I-25/Broadway, then run along the Southeast Corridor from there to Lincoln Avenue in Lone Tree.

According to a map in the RTD's current service plan for the corridor, the F Line's color is red.

Please note that the names of future light rail lines are italicized, to coincide with the opening of the Southeast Corridor line in late 2006.
