A facsimile is any copy or reproduction, which bears a close resemblance to the original. It is often used to classify alternate phone numbers, E-mail addresses, ect., which flow to the same account.

"Facsimile Edition" in publishing is a new edition of an (often classic) book, in the form of an exact reproduction of the original edition, including the typeface and layout of the pages. It is also used in business world for alternate phone numbers, E-mail addresses, etc. which flow to the same account.
