Fairfax New Zealand is New Zealand's largest media company, best known for its daily publication The Dominion Post. The company's other assets include eight other daily newspapers, two nation-wide Sunday paper's and over 60 community-based newspapers throughout the country.

The company is a division of John Fairfax Holdings, a major Australian media company, which major papers include the Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and The Australian Financial Review.
