Falcon Air is a cargo airline based in Malmö, Sweden. It operates mail transport services at night and day flights on contract for FlyMe. Its main base is Malmö Sturup Airport (MMX).
Code Data
History
The airline was formed as an air taxi operator in the 1960s and expanded into air cargo operations in October 1986. It was acquired by Postbolagen in two phases in 1987 and 1988.
Services
Falcon Air operates mail transport during the night from/to Stockholm, Malmö, Umeå, Luleå and Sundsvall (at January 2005). New destinations from 2006 include Beirut and Thessaloniki with Damascus, Tunis and Cairo soon to follow.
