Falls bagging
Encyclopedia : F : FA : FAL : Falls bagging
Falls Bagging is a blossoming hobby in the same vein as Peak Bagging.
Falls Bagging (or Waterfall Bagging) is popular amongst bushwalkers and to some extent people that are involved in Geocaching, who prefer Waterfalls to mountain peaks. Falls Baggers are constantly in search of a new, little known set of waterfalls. To properly 'bag' a waterfall you must visit it personally and take a photograph of it. The photograph is optional, as the act of falls bagging is generally a purely personal competition, but a photograph helps to share your experience with others. [Tasmanian Waterfalls] is a popular falls bagging site for the state of Tasmania, in Australia and will give you an idea of what falls bagging is all about.
