Falmer railway station

Falmer Railway Station is operated by Southern and lies on the East Coastway Line. The station serves the village of Falmer as well as the University of Sussex campus and the University of Brighton Falmer Campus. It is also intended to serve Falmer Stadium, the new home of Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. planned for the Falmer Campus. The buildings on the down (eastbound) platform side include a well-preserved, unusual example of a signal-box.
The typical off-peak service is:
- 4tph (trains per hour) to Brighton westbound
- 2tph to Seaford eastbound
- 1tph to Ore via Hastings and Eastbourne eastbound
- 1tph to Lewes eastbound
