Fashion TV is an international television channel devoted to fashion and modelling.

Founded in France in 1997 by its president Michel Adam Lisowski, Fashion TV has become one of the most widely-distributed satellite channels in the world: 31 satellite and 2,000 cable systems, with a total of 300 million households in 202 countries across the five continents.

Programming

Its programming comprises 24 hours a day of style, fashion and beauty clips, with 500 hours of new programs every year, 300 catwalks, and approximately 600 new clips every season.

The worldwide broadcasts are avaiable by cable and satellite. Most of its programming consists of short (approximately 5-minute) clips from fashion shows, behind the scenes glimpses of the modelling industry, special events and awards ceremonies. These are grouped into themed programmes, including:

Beginning in the autumn of 2005 the channel added several minutes of British commercials per hour on its UK service, apparently sold through Sky, in addition to its two international ad breaks per hour. The channel is currently on Sky's EPG on channel number 273, in the Lifestyle and Culture block. It is also available via Telewest.
