Fawkham Junction
Encyclopedia : F : FA : FAW : Fawkham Junction
Fawkham Junction () is a railway junction on the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL), which links London and the Channel Tunnel in the United Kingdom. The junction links the CTRL with the standard, third rail lines that are used by Eurostar trains for access to Waterloo station, which is their current London terminus.
It is at the boundary between CTRL phases one and two: phase one, which opened in 2003, runs from the Channel Tunnel to Fawkham Junction; and phase two, which is under construction and due to open in 2007, runs from Fawkham Junction to London St Pancras, via Stratford International.
