The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is responsible for the 6th District of the Federal Reserve, which covers Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and parts of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Located in Atlanta, it has branches in Birmingham, Jacksonville, Miami, Nashville, and New Orleans. The president as of 2005 is Jack Guynn. It is located at 1000 Peachtree St NE Atlanta, GA 30309
