Feldkirch, Hartheim

Feldkirch is a very small town a few minutes from the French Border and near Switzerland. It is famous as the childhood home of Sybille von Schoenebeck, later to gain fame as Sybille Bedford, in the 1910s. It has really only come to full prominence in the 21st Century with the publication of her final auto-biography , though it was mentioned in the 1989 booker Prize nominated .
