Encyclopedia : F : FE : FER : Fernmeldeturm Bungsberg
The Fernmeldeturm Bungsberg (Telecommunication Tower Bungsberg) is a 179 metre high telecommunication tower on the Bungsberg in Schleswig-Holstein in Northern Germany, built between 1975 and 1977. The Fernmeldeturm Bungsberg has an observation deck in a height of 40 metres.
There is also a second transmission tower on Bungsberg. The North German Broadcasting Company (NDR) has a guyed steel tube mast for FM and TV transmission there, which is 231 metres high and was built in 1960.
The TV mast is at the time replaced by a guyed TV mast built of lattice steel for DVB-T broadcasting.
