The "Festa de Nossa Senhora do Rosário" or simply "Festa do Rosário" is the main celebration in the city of Córrego Danta. It happens in the city during the third weekend of August.

Main religious aspects

Festa do Rosário is a Catholic celebration which involves almost all the people in Córrego Danta, due to the fact that most people in this city are Catholic. It celebrates Our Lady of Rosário. The celebration starts with a mass in the main church, located in downtown, and after the mass, a procession starts and go from the church to the Our Lady of Rosary church. Then, there is another celebration there, which have the flagpole (with an image of the saint on the top) lift.
