Encyclopedia : F : FI : FIN : Final Analysis
Final Analysis is neo-noir drama, directed by Phil Joanou, written by Wesley Strick and executive produced by Richard Gere.
Isaac Barr (Richard Gere) is a top notch San Francisco psychiatrist who has Diana Baylor (Uma Thurman) on the patient's couch and is treating her for very frightening and horrific memories.
As part of the treatment Isaac speaks to Diana's sister, the stunning Heather Evans (Kim Basinger), to find out more about the sisters past experiences. Not long after, Isaac becomes involved with the seductive Heather. The problem: Heather is married to a violent ganster.
This neo-noir is similar to a classic Hitchcockian thriller where the twists never stop until the end.
