FIRA is also the acrnym for the Federation of International Robot-soccer Association and also may refer to the FIRA - Association of European Rugby.

Fira is the modern capital of the Greek Aegean island, Santorini. "Firá", actually, is a different pronunciation of "Thira", the ancient name of the island itself.
