Flash Friday is a promotion used by radio personality Tom Leykis.

Every Friday (during the daylight savings time period only) between the hours of 3:00PM to 7:00PM (PDT), male fans of The Tom Leykis Show are encouraged to turn the headlights on while driving. Female fans are encouraged to display their bare breasts to drivers with headlights on. Some listeners who have been flashed call the show to report the location, type of vehicle and description of the female in order to lead other listeners to the same display.

Tom Leykis launched this promotion in the western coast of the USA after learning about a very similar segment created by Opie and Anthony called Whip'em Out Wednesdays (WOW) in the eastern coast of the USA. Whip'em Out Wednesdays, encouraged women to flash motorists who have a WOW bumper sticker. Leykis instead suggests people turn their automobile's headlights on to signify acceptance for being flashed. Amid allegations that Leykis "stole" Opie and Anthony's promotional idea, the shows have become harsh rivals [link].
